When You’re Good to Mama, originally performed in Chicago by Queen Latifah. I have eight children, and to me this song is humorous about parenthood. I do not buy into when Mama is not happy, no one is. I believe we all responsible for our own happiness. However, the song is still amusing.

Amarillo By Morning, originally performed by George Strait. I rewrote this and changed it to “Beach Haven Morning.”

Love Is on a Roll, originally performed by Don Williams. I rewrote this and had it relay to my life directly.

These Boots Are Made for Walkin”, originally performed by Nancy Sinatra. I rewrote this and changed the subject from a woman learning about her cheating man into me annihilating my life’s baggage.

Sixteen Tons, originally performed by Tennessee Ernie Ford. I rewrote this and changed it to “8 Children” and me being those children’s mom.
